Taking natural supplements is a great way to add more nutrition to your healthy diet.
There are some other ways to add nutrition to your healthy diet. You could eat 1 small
green leaf or 1/2 of a large green leaf 4-5 times a day. For added taste, sprinkle with
water and add sea salt or kelp powder. You could also consume Moringa leaf powder.
Juicing is also very beneficial.
Vitality Salad:
makes 2 servings
4 cups lettuce (see variety list below)
1/2 cup fresh spinach
2/3 cup fresh herbs (see variety list below)
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 large carrots thinly sliced
1 green onion (including tops) thinly sliced
1 large tomato cut in pieces
1 cup fresh bean sprouts (optional)
Variety List - Choose from the following:
Lettuce:
Iceberg
Romaine
Butterhead
Loose-leaf
Fresh Herbs (use sparingly):
Parsley
Basil
Mint
Rosemary
Sage
Thyme
Marjoram
Vitality Salad Dressing: (see notes below)
Makes 10 servings - refrigerate and use within 1 week.
In blender or food processor add the following ingredients-
1/4 cup pine nuts or sesame seeds or sunflower seeds
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp fresh onion, chopped
3 cups fresh basil leaves (loosely packed)
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup brewed and cooled green rooibos tea
1 tbsp powdered green rooibos tea (use coffee grinder or food processor)
1 tbsp kelp powder
1/4 cup cold-pressed flaxseed oil
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp. sea salt
Blend ingredients until smooth. Add more sea salt to taste (if necessary). Keep
refrigerated. Shake or stir well before using.
Notes:
1. Moringa leaf powder can be used instead of green rooibos tea powder.

4. To make powder out of dried leaves, you can use a food processor or a mortar and
pestle for best results.
Antioxidant Smoothie: (see notes below)
makes 2 servings
In blender or food processor add the following ingredients-
1 peeled orange
1 peeled lime
1/2 peeled lemon
1/4 peeled grapefruit
2 cups of your favorite berries. (see variety list below)
1 peach or 1 mango or 1 banana or 1/2 cup melon (or your favorite fruit)
1 cup all natural fruit punch (or favorite juice)
1 tbsp green powder (see variety list below)
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
1tbsp flax seed oil (optional)
1 tbsp honey (optional) Caution: Do not give raw honey to children under 2 years of age.
Blend ingredients until smooth. Freeze leftovers in ice cube tray and use within 1
week.

Berries-
blackberries
blueberries
cranberries
raspberries
strawberries
Green Powder-
green rooibos tea powder
moringa leaf powder
seaweed powder
Notes:
1. For icy cold smoothies, peel citrus fruit and freeze all fruit at least one night before
making smoothies. You can also place 1/2 of fruit punch juice in ice cube tray to make
juice ice cubes, or you can just add ice to blender.
2. Citrus - To get the most nutrition from citrus, peel fruit by hand and leave on most of
the white part. You can also cut the fruit carefully to leave on most of the white part.
3. Berries - To get the most nutrition from berries, use several varieties together.
4. Allergies - Citrus fruit and berries cause allergic reactions in those who are susceptible.
If you are allergic to any of the above fruit, you can make substitutions by using a larger
quantity of the fruits you are not allergic to.
5. To make powder out of dried leaves, you can use a food processor or a mortar and
