Recipes:  Dr. Oz' Green Drink (as featured on Oprah)
Dr. Mehmet Oz has been featured regularly on the Oprah Winfrey show as a medical
and health expert.  He has strongly recommended his homemade Green Drink for
natural detoxification and extra nourishment.  The drink is a rich source of fiber and
several other nutrients that naturally cleanse and replenish the body.  


Servings: 3-4



Ingredients:

2 cups spinach
2 cups cucumber
1 head of celery
1/2 inch or teaspoon ginger root
1 bunch parsley
2 apples
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 lemon
natural sweetner (optional)
ice cubes (optional)


Directions:

Place all ingredients into the blender (except for ice cubes).  Add 1/2 cup to 1 cup
pure water and natural sweetner.  Blend well.   Drop ice cubes into the blender one
at a time (through the hole in the lid) and blend until smooth.  Pour into glasses.
